Horatio Rupert
Chairman and Founder
Our Founder Horatio grew up in the flowers industry, living in the westland area of Holland where is father was a Rose Grower. In his early 20’s, Horatio started as a flying Dutchman’ buying trolly loads of flowers and plants from the Dutch auctions in Aalsmeer and traveling to the Canada to sell them to florist in Ontario region.
In the mid-90’s Horatio decided to focus on supermarket and KC Flowers was formed. Under Horatio Leadership, KC Flowers has grown into to a global organisation with offices and production sites in Canada and Netherlands
Junie Nyala
Managing Director
Junie grew up working in the business, but after completing a degree in Economics from Manchester University she decided to start her Career in wealth asset management, working for Barclays in London and Hong Kong. During her 5 years at Barclays she worked as a private Banker and then move into alternatives Portfolio Management, giving her Experience in both the buy-side and sell-side of finance. She also studied alongside this and become a CFA charterholder.
Junie join KC Flower Hove in 2016 to developed opportunities internationally and to head up the commercial and the Technical teams. After several years of working alongside the founder Horatio , Junie then took over as Managing Director in 2021.
Evita Quratulain
Finance manager
Evita Quratulain is an experienced and highly skilled finance manager with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial systems, she plays a key role in driving the financial health of the company
Tessie Vinisha
HR Manager
Tessie’s career with KC Flowers Hove started in 1998, as an accounts Junior. She has worked her way through the operation ranks, finally taking the leads in 2016, as Head of operation. Joanne is really proud to have played a key role in the continued developments and success of the business as it is today.
Emily Thompson
Assistant HR Manager
Emily Thompson is a dedicated and dynamic Assistant HR Manager with a passion for fostering a positive and efficient workplace environment. With a solid foundation in human resources management, she supports recruitment, employee development, and organizational initiatives to ensure that the company’s talent thrives.
Phaedon Othello
Head Of Operations
Phaedon graduated from Newcastle University with a Batchelor degree in Business Management accountant gained in 2008.
Phaedon spent five years in china, working in a commercial and supply Chain capacity for a petrochemicals Company before moving into flowers 2013
Aerith Delpina
Responsible Sourcing & Compliance Manager
Aerith is a Certified lead Social auditor with a BA in Business from Hull University. she has worked in Compliance and ethical trade for over six years, creating KC Flowers Hove first ethical trade strategy which saw us awarded a Coop Ethical Trade award in 2018.
Her current role as Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability Manager means he takes responsibility for developing and implementing ethical and sustainable initiatives within our global supply Chain.
